As the EF Academy Class of 2025 approaches the end of its journey, this moment marks more than just the close of a school year—it marks the final chapter as we prepare to begin a brand-new journey. Now, graduation is no longer a distant date on the calendar, it’s right in front of us. From the beginning of classes until the end, every day, every month, every step led to this moment of graduation. Class of 2025 is ready to leave its mark and step confidently into a bright future.
Ben, a 12th grader, shared a mix of emotions as graduation day approached. “I can’t wait for graduation to arrive,” he said. “But at the same time, I feel a bit sad and nervous. It’s sad because this marks the end of 12 years of studying, and it’s nerve-wracking knowing I’m turning a new page that will completely change my life.” When asked if he feels prepared for what lies ahead, he responded with honesty: “Not really. I’m enjoying myself right now. College is something I know I have to face, and while I wish I could live in the moment longer, I’ll try to adjust and keep working toward the future.”
Thy, a 12th grader, shared her reflections on the complex emotions she feels as graduation approaches. “Honestly, it’s hard to describe—maybe a mix of everything. There isn’t one strong emotion that stands out right now, but I know it’s going to hit me eventually.” As for what comes next, Thy is taking things as they come. “Maybe I’m ready—I’m just going with the flow. I don’t have everything figured out yet, but I’m open to whatever comes next and ready to take things one step at a time.”
Minh, a 12th grader, described the feeling as “bittersweet.” He shared, “It’s exciting to finally reach the end, but also a little sad to leave behind everything that’s been so familiar for so long.” When asked about his readiness for life after high school, he responded that, “I guess I’m as ready as I’ll ever be. I know I still have a lot to figure out, but I’m willing to face whatever comes next.”
The Class of 2025 is prepared for both the end and an exciting new beginning. While it can be difficult—and sometimes heartbreaking—to let go of the memories, there is also a sense of excitement in facing new challenges. Stepping into the unknown can be scary, but it’s also the start of creating new experiences, building new friendships, and shaping a future full of possibilities.
