Do you like horror, or alien related media? Or maybe you like to pretend like a detective who is inspecting and studying the behaviour of others? If yes, then you might find comfort in a game called: No, I’m not a human.
No, I’m not a human is a game that was developed by “Trioskaz” and published by “Critical Reflex” on platforms like Steam on September 15, 2025. It’s a survival, stealth horror game that stuns players with many scary and blood chilling scenarios.
The whole background of it is that the sun’s temperature is increasing significantly and many people need shelter as many buildings are burning and rapidly becoming unlivable. The task of the player is to let people in the house during the night to shelter them from danger. But there is one big twist: Not everybody is human, some are aliens parading as humans.
These people are called “The Visitors,” a dangerous species that looks similar to humans. They crawl out of the ground and have unclear, dangerous intentions towards mortals. The player has to look and study their behavior and appearance, to distinguish who they really are.
To do that it’s necessary to look at things that include: perfectly white teeth, dirty fingernails, blood-shot eyes, insects inside the ears, bleeding gums and few more things that are precisely discussed in the process of playing.
What happens when we find the visitor?
When you find the unwanted creature, your task is to terminate them. To do that, it’s your task to shoot them. After doing that there are two special events that will occur on screen, depending on if your conclusion is proven to be true. If a blurred, bloody and disturbing looking body appears this means that you successfully eliminated the visitor. On the other hand when we see a black plastic bag it means that we sadly just murdered a human being.

When it comes to the visuals and overall comfortable gameplay I think this game does really well. Even though the map (which is a house) is small, “old fashioned” and the people look ugly, the whole of it makes a really nice climate that gives us goosebumps.
Those who have played it really seem to like this game as it currently has a total of about 25,000 reviews, where over 23,000 of them are positive. One reviewer said, “This game exudes horror and creates tension without relying on cheap jumpscares. Although the game won’t have you jumping from your seat. It will definitely create tension and unease due to its unique, yet unsettling graphics and music.”
While some of the critics said, “Love the idea of ‘No, I’m not a human’ but the actual game seems to fall flat. Figuring out If somebody is a visitor might as well be a coin flip and it’s just generally unengaging.”
Going back to the positives, many people also mention that what stood out to them was that the game has multiple unique endings that change depending on the choices you make. All of it assures the player that they will never get bored of it.
Another thing that proves how great “No, I’m not a human” is the fact that it was nominated for the Steam Awards in the “rich story” category. Which is a great achievement considering that the game is an indie production.
Overall “No I’m not a human” is a game many horror fans would really enjoy, considering the fact that it’s different from most of the games currently trending. It requires something more than being generally good at video games as it makes the player think and analyze every single thing, because even a small mistake can cause a major change in the ending you receive.
