Dan Denoncourt, EF’s Director of Operations, is more than just a dedicated leader at our school, he’s also a dedicated athlete..This athlete is passionate about strength training and Spartan races. He works out five days a week, with three days of weight lifting and two days of cardio and core training. Although he used to train more, he now understands the importance of recovery.
A major turning point in his fitness journey was meeting a personal trainer in 2016. With proper guidance, he learned effective training methods and later became a personal trainer himself. His original motivation was simple: to look better and feel better. Over time, fitness became about discipline and self-improvement.
Denoncourt keeps his supplements simple, using protein powder, protein bars, and creatine. During his first Spartan race, he injured his shoulder, which was frustrating but taught him the importance of patience and recovery.
Denoncourt’s advice for beginners is clear: start simple, consider finding a trainer, and don’t get distracted by social media. Consistency and focus are the keys to long-term success.
