Many people argue whether books or movies are better. Both methods are ways of bringing stories into life. They share the art of storytelling, however many movies are based on books. I believe that books are better than movies because they allow more imagination, more detail, and a deeper connection.
Books let you use your imagination. They let you create characters and worlds by yourself, allowing you to choose the story you step into.
Books tell one story, but it can be imagined in a million different ways. That is what makes reading something extremely personal.

Most of the time books include more details than a movie. Movies are short and can only fit a certain amount of moments, scenes, and information in it; books on the other hand, they include everything. Books are able to show characters’ thoughts and feelings better, allowing the readers to connect with them so much more, helping us understand the story more deeply.
I understand that reading might not be for everyone, and some might prefer to watch the movies better. They might like it better because they go faster, you wouldn’t have to sit multiple days to finish the story, with the movie you will know the ending in around two hours. Movies also have music and visuals, which allows the viewer to be entertained and pay close attention. With the visuals people only get to watch, they get to admire the story and move on with their day. A viewer doesn’t get to imagine what is happening, they just watch it.
I agree with watching movies to pass the time and enter a world for a couple of hours, but I definitely believe that books are always better than the movie. It shares more in depth about everything and creates a stronger and more personal connection and experience. It lets you create worlds and characters how you want and relate to them, the story goes along but you can imagine it however you decide.
