Recently, Cena has served a variety of dishes that showcase the creativity of our campus chefs. Let’s take a look at them and analyze the flavors of the dishes!

On March 31st, we had roasted lemon chicken and flavored rice for lunch. The lemon chicken was tender and flavorful, with a nice herb seasoning. It was a perfect balance for the chicken. The rice was well-cooked, slightly fluffy, and mixed with some herb seasoning for added texture and taste. This dish presented a satisfying, well-balanced meal both visually and nutritionally. It was a hearty dish that had protein, carbs, and greens.

On April 1st, we had grilled chicken, tender beef, roasted broccoli, and Mexican rice. The grilled chicken and tender beef was juicy and had a perfect balance of seasoning. The rice added a vibrant touch with its orange hue and scattered peas. The roasted broccoli was a great addition to add freshness. This dish offered a flavorful and colorful mix of proteins and vegetables with a nice variety of textures and flavors.

On April 2nd, for lunch we had Huli Huli chicken, buttered rice, and cabbage poriyal. The Huli Huli chicken had a smoky, seasoned exterior with juicy meat inside. The buttered rice, speckled with chopped green onions, appeared fluffy and well-cooked, with a subtle seasoning. The cabbage poriyal featured cabbage and carrots, adding a brightness and bringing freshness to the plate. This plate presented a light yet flavorful combination that struck a nice balance between freshness and heartiness.
