On Wednesday, March 5th, EF students will kick off spring break, which stretches till March 25th, offering us 20 days of rest, exploration, and fun during the break!
Spring break is a great time to unwind, explore new places, and make memories that will be remembered for a lifetime. Whether you’re headed to a beach, road-tripping, or simply staying home, some planning goes a long way. Here are some top tips to make your spring break the best it can be!
Go with the Flow and Respect Local Cultures and Environments
Not everything will go exactly the way we want it to. Except change and have a “plan B” to deal with problems such as weather, canceled events, and unexpected closures. Remain optimistic, adjust to changes, and focus on living each moment to the fullest–just go with the flow and trust the journey. Go with the flow, but remain sensitive to local cultures and environments, appreciating new experiences without sacrificing the values and traditions of places. Clean up after yourself, put trash in the right place, and respect others while forming a line. It also honors the environment and traditions of the residents of the area.

Set a Budget – Use Apps for Deals & Discounts
Spring break fun doesn’t have to break the bank. Set a limit for your budget, and identify how much you can afford to spend for each category. Searching for travel and hotel offers on apps and sharing money in a big group will help you save even more. Using travel apps and setting the limit you can spend on a day so you don’t overspend. You can look for Trail Wallet and TravelSpend to stay on track. Google Flights, Booking.com, and Klook–these apps can give you discounts on your flights, hotel, tours, and attraction tickets. By creating a budget, you may enjoy your spring break to the fullest without worrying about money, allowing you to go with the flow while still staying within your spending plan.
Try Something New
New experiences trigger the release of dopamine, creating a sense of pleasure and reward. Also, trying new things expands knowledge, skills, and perspectives, making people feel accomplished. By the way, doing the same thing repeatedly can become boring, while new experiences add variety and excitement. And the most memorable part of the break will be the new experiences and challenges.

Rest and Recharge
Travel often involves long flights, walking, and exploring new places, which can lead to exhaustion. Taking breaks allows the body to recover. Continue the journey with more energy and enthusiasm! Resting allows the brain to absorb and retain new experiences better, making your trip more memorable. Also, overloading your schedule can turn an enjoyable trip into a stressful one. Balancing exploration with relaxation prevents burnout. Rest is not a waste of time.
After a long quarter, you should take some time to relax and rejuvenate over spring break. Therefore, it’s crucial to have the greatest vacation possible before going back to school. Disconnecting from homework, getting enough sleep, and engaging in activities that bring joy is crucial to promoting a healthy school-life balance and personal happiness. Having the best rest is the perfect start for the new journey. So go with the flow, make memories, and enjoy every moment of your much needed break!
