Renowned for its bold and vibrant taste, this Thai restaurant located at 738 E. Colorado Blvd. raises high hopes for eaters. To test this idea, we went on a mission to try out the menu, from Tom Yum to Green Curry, and gave our most honest opinion on their cuisine.

Here are some dishes that stood out:

Chicken satay (9/10)
It looks really delicious, and the color of the chicken is golden-brown. The aroma which has that warm earthy fragrance of the star anise and cinnamon. The chicken was tender and juicy, and came with cucumber & the peanut sauce as the side.

Tom Yum soup ( 6/10 )
This is a very pretty dish, with a lot of mushrooms, tomatoes, and shrimp topped with cilantro and green onion. The signature broth has a mild yellow color with hints of red from chili oil. The dominant tastes are umami and sour with only mild spice. There is also a strong lemongrass and fish sauce taste. Slightly too much fish sauce was used for my preference but this is still is a solid soup. The shrimp was very soft, though it is made from frozen shrimp.

Green curry (8/10)
The green curry had a vibrant, creamy green color with visible pieces of fresh basil, bell peppers and tender chicken. The flavor was a perfect balance of creamy and spicy.

Orange chicken (7.5/10)
The Orange chicken is vibrant, topped with large chilies and green onion. The portion is very big, and can feed 2 people. The flaky batter on the chicken is crunchy and flavorful. This dish pairs extremely well with white rice and Tom Yum soup.
